I was a little surprised to see that it has been almost two years since I last did a strip of the role-playing game so I thought it was about time we got back to it. And here we are with the first episode of a new chapter in the ongoing story. An episode that I had a lot of fun drawing, because if there's any kind of story that makes the most of backgrounds, it's one with a fantasy setting. My full-time job has been taking up much of my time lately, and as this is such a lengthy strip it took some time to finish. Not to mention I had to spend the better part of a week without internet access due to landline problems and an overwhelming sense of apathy from the phone company over their part in it. And then I had a few more technical problems which have caused a few more delays! But everything seems to be alright now... *pauses briefly to see what else might happen now he's said that* Anyway, I've made sure to use the time I did have to add extra detail to the strip and I hope it shows. I'm pretty pleased with the look of it (no matter how iffy the scrpit may or may not be), and I'll even be posting a new addition in the wallpaper section of the site in the next couple of days taken from this episode.
Work on the next couple of episodes may be a little slow due to my job and the potential for even more ludicrously overdone backgrounds. However, I promise it'll all be worth it as the story will gear up for a bit of action toward the end of this chapter! So please stick with us and I'll try not to make the wait between strips too agonisingly long (The Great Llama permitting).
